God is Listening Just Wait for His Timing

I still remember way back when I was in high school, I pray to God every night. It’s not a good night prayer and a simple thank you. I tell you, the conversation was deep, I cried, in one of the 4 corners of my grandmother’s room with a wide-open vintage window with lights turned-off.
Why I do that?
Every time I pray that way, it makes me feel refresh, reborn, as if the brand new day cannot wait to give me its surprise.
And of course, I feel loved.
In that dark room I don’t feel alone. I sense that God is there sitting with me too. Listening with all ears.
I prayed that someday I’ll be on class’ top 10 even in one subject. I became top 1 in our Home Economics for 3 consecutive gradings. And top 3 overall.
I prayed for a cellphone, my first cellphone was an ALCATEL with an orange backlight and look like a soap… not too good, it’s only for texts and calls. By that time 8210 was in demand and hot. So I hide my ALCATEL often when I’m texting.
I prayed that someday I’ll have my own personal computer. (suntok sa buwan) because in reality I knew I can’t afford to by one.
I prayed for my lifetime partner. So when the man named Jeff courted me, (a Christian) I thought he’s the one I prayed for.
I prayed that someday my mother will be proud of me, because she’ll be walking on stage to award me a medal. I prayed to God that special awards will do.
I prayed that someday I can be a secretary (mababa lang ako mangarap) because I want to work in an office.
I prayed.
I counted days, months and years.
Guests what.
All prayers are answered. Not in the version I have prayed for, but  in GREAT VERSION I have never imagined.
Now I have 3 cellphones. But I use the simplest one with no camera. And the 2 with cameras? (in my drawer)
How about the personal computer? I have now my personal laptop, and a PC at home. (we actually have 2 laptops one for my hubby and the other one is forme) and 20 other PCs. Yes 20 computers, because my hubby owns a computer shop.
My relationship with Jeff didn’t last long. But God gave me better and greater than him. (My Hubby)
Iprayed for  a special award or distinction award. God made me a CUMLAUDE.
And today I’m working in an office, but not ordinary office, I work as a writer, cartoonist in Mayor’s Department.
Isn’t it great? No. I mean G R E A T….
In my experience, I have learned that God has His own way of timing. He listens to your prayers and if you have the courage to wait and faith for it to happen… it will, in God’s version. It’s a huge blessing you can ever imagine.

LET's CELEBRATE!

Why wait for a reason to celebrate?

I’ll save for the upcoming birthday of my spouse.
I’ll wear this pretty dress on our reunion.
Let’s cook delicious dishes on their arrival.
I have a new job…let’s celebrate to that!

Why do we always wait for a reason to celebrate? Why do we always keep this and that for a certain occasion?
Maybe the answer is: THAT DAY IS SPECIAL.
May I ask you…Don’t you find anything special today to celebrate life?
Life is the number one reason we have to celebrate today!
I am alive, you are alive.
You can embrace your love ones any time you want.
You can say anything special to them anytime of the day.
You can still kiss your spouse good night.
Everything in life is a blessing.

I remember when I’m commuting in a public utility jeepney with my one year old son… An accident happened in an instance. VERY QUICK.
There in an instance I realized that we have given another life. In my impulse to protect my child (reflex) I embrace him and let my face hit the metal driver seat.

I pray to God after that incident, and thank him that we are safe, no wounds, no bruises, no scars. WE ARE SAFE.
I embraced that moment as a personal message from God.
WE HAVE TO ENJOY LIFE AND CELEBRATE WE’RE ALIVE.
…then I kissed my child. When we got home I embraced my spouse and tell him how much I treasure our family, our love and our relationship.
BY THE WAY I COOKED GREAT FOOD THAT NIGHT… TO CELEBRATE LIFE.
